Special Events

The Camera Cinemas present a wide variety of unique events, festivals, programs and special screenings. In addition to the Cult Movie Series and our long-running Camera Cinema Club, we host Cinequest, the Silicon Valley Jewish Film Festival, the Arab Film Festival, the San Francisco Asian-American Film Festival, the San Jose Short Film Festival and other events and promotions tied to our regular film openings.

Camera 12 to Host Cinebrew Mart 2014 on Sat, July 26th

Hey, How does all-you-can-watch movies and unlimited beer tastings for $25 sound? SJMADE, Camera Cinemas, and San Jose's own Hermitage Brewing are proud to present Cinebrew Mart 2014 on Saturday, July 26th at Camera 12 Cinema, 201 S. Second Street, San Jose. Admission is $25 in advance, $30 day of the event. Click here to purchase tickets

The Cinebrew wristband pass gives access to ten microbreweries, thirty artisan vendors, and twelve screens of movies. Movie access is from 11:00am-11:00pm, drinking from 1:00-4:00pm, and the local vendors will be set up in Camera 12's first floor lobby and along the Paseo de San Antonio from 11:00am-7:00pm.

Microbreweries on site to sample from include Hermitage (San Jose), Strike (San Jose), Santa Clara Valley Brewing (San Jose), Tied House (Mountain View), Santa Cruz Ale Works, Faultline (Sunnyvale), Uncommon Brewers (Santa Cruz), Campbell Brewing Company, and Gordon Biersch (San Jose). Vendors include Amber Mosaic, Cest Delectable, Franci Cakes, jcdouglas, Plumeria Flours, Kindred Cooks, Linda's Obsession, Roxanne's Biscotti, Sweetwater Baking Company, Techshop San Jose, and Treatbot.

B Movie Bombs Series Kicks off at Camera 3 on July 26th

B Movie Bombs, Camera 3's new interactive monthly film series, kicks off with John Carpenter's 1988 sci-fi horror comedy They Live on Sat, July 26 at 10:00pm at Camera 3 Cinema, 288 S. Second Street, San Jose. All tickets are $10. Buy Now

Cult Sensation The Room Now Screening Monthly at Camera 3

By popular demand, Camera 3 Entertainment is now hosting monthly Saturday night screenings of Tommy Wiseau's The Room, an electrifying American black comedy about love, passion, betrayal and lies. This long-time midnight cult sensation screens the second Saturday of each month, starting at 12 midnight. All tickets for regular monthly shows are only $7.50. BUY TICKETS

In this electrifying American black comedy about love, passion, betrayal and lies, Johnny is a successful banker with a great respect for -- and dedication to -- the people in his life, especially his future wife, Lisa. As the film depicts friendships and relationships in the lives of its five major characters, it raises life's real and most-asked question: "Can you really trust anyone?"

The Room has been playing continuously in Los Angeles since it first hit theaters in 2003, and regularly sells out screenings in San Francisco, New York and other locations across the country.

Cult Movie Series Now Screening at Camera 3 Entertainment

Hey all you Insomniacs, Pop Culture Fanatics, Thrill Seekers, and Creatures of the Night! The Cult Movie Series is now back with monthly screenings of your favorite films (voted on by you guys during our recent on-line polling). Each film shows Thursday at 9:30pm and Saturday at 12 midnight (note the new later start times) at Camera 3 Entertainment, and all tickets are only $7.50. Series sponsored by Psycho Donuts, Streetlight Records and Time Tunnel Toys, who will be providing prizes. Alcohol served until 11:00pm, with a special guest hosting each screening.

Barely Legal's Rocky Horror Screening Monthly at Camera 3

Do The Time Warp Again as Barely Legal, the Bay Area's premiere Rocky Horror Picture Show performing cast, is hosting monthly Saturday night events at Camera 3 Cinema in downtown San Jose. All tickets for these screenings, sponsored by Psycho Donuts, are $10, and doors open at 11:30pm (with alcohol served until 11:00pm). We highly recommend that you book your seat in advance! Events are the first Saturday of each month, with periodic bonus screenings. BUY TICKETS now
