Camera 7 Pruneyard Hosting Open Captioned Screenings Every Monday
Camera Cinemas started in 1975 with the goal of bringing quality independent films to South Bay audiences. Almost forty years later, that same focus on accessibility and access for all continues, and we are proud that every Monday, the first showing of each film we screen will be Open Captioned (English subtitles up on screen) so that those who are hard of hearing have a chance to enjoy the movies.
Open Captioned (as opposed to Closed Captioned) means that English subtitles will be visible on screen for these shows. There will be a few exceptions, as some smaller film releases do not have OCAP versions. These will be announced each week. But we are committed to providing this service for every film for which it is available.
O-CAP Films for Monday, November 30th:
11:25am -- BROOKLYN
11:35am -- THE GOOD DINOSAUR
12 noon -- SPECTRE
12:15pm -- THE MARTIAN
12:40pm -- SPOTLIGHT
1:00pm -- CREED
1:10pm -- HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PT. 2

In this electrifying American black comedy about love, passion, betrayal and lies, Johnny is a successful banker with a great respect for -- and dedication to -- the people in his life, especially his future wife, Lisa. As the film depicts friendships and relationships in the lives of its five major characters, it raises life's real and most-asked question: "Can you really trust anyone?"
